Wellness
Wellness is a holistic lifestyle approach that aims to protect the natural balance of the body, mind, and emotions. The concept of wellbeing includes the habits needed to manage daily stress, boost energy, and support personal renewal. Wellbeing represents the sustainable harmony between physical health, mental clarity, and emotional balance. When these three concepts are brought together, they create a powerful transformation that elevates overall quality of life. Modern wellness practices enhance personal awareness and help maintain balance in every aspect of life.
Holistic Health
Holism is the philosophical view that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. According to this perspective, a system cannot be fully understood by analyzing its components alone; all elements we can perceive together form the reality. For this reason, the holistic approach remains highly relevant in modern medicine and healthcare.
The main principle of Holistic Health is not “How do we treat illness?” but “How do we preserve health?” The right approach is to focus on preventive practices before disease emerges, maintaining physical and mental balance. The goal is to stay healthy, strong, and well before expensive or complex treatments become necessary.
Thermal Water / Balneotherapy
Thermal spring waters are enriched not only by their high temperatures but also by geothermal energy from deep within the earth, and they offer a unique natural healing solution through the concentration of dissolved minerals (mineralization). Balneology (the science of thermal springs) conducts precise analyses of dissolved minerals and gases to reveal the therapeutic power of these waters. The temperature, pH level, and dominant ion type (such as sulfur, bicarbonate, and chloride) are critical for a successful treatment program.
Turkish Bath (Hammam)
The Turkish Bath, known for its rejuvenating and cleansing effects, is a traditional steam bath. The combination of steam, heat, and exfoliation helps detoxify the body, open pores, and remove dead skin cells, leaving the skin soft and radiant. It improves blood circulation, relieves muscle tension, and reduces stress. The deep relaxation and mental clarity experienced during a Hamam session support both physical and emotional balance, contributing to overall well-being.
Sauna - Wellness
As one of the most valued stops in traditional wellness rituals, the sauna is not just a place to relax, but a holistic purification center in the modern wellness concept. This process, which takes its name from the Latin philosophy Salus Per Aquam (SPA), meaning "Health Through Water," purifies the body of toxins while bringing profound peace of mind through the unique harmony of hot water, steam, and intense heat. Considered the heart of spa wet areas, saunas accelerate blood circulation, relax muscles, and provide renewal at a cellular level.
Aromatherapy Massage
Aromatherapy massage is the use of complementary and preventive health herbal aromatic oils through massage manipulations to correct mental and physical imbalances and maintain body health. Essential oils derived from plants are highly concentrated, chemically rich, aromatic, active, and volatile liquids.
Reflexology
Reflexology is believed to have first been practiced in ancient India, China, or Ancient Egypt. Throughout history, ancient civilizations applied this method to various ailments and diseases and achieved good results. Traditionally present in the East, this method was introduced to the West, the center of Modern Medicine, by Dr. William H. Fitzgerald in the early 1900s.
Shiatsu Massage
Shiatsu, which means “finger pressure” in Japanese, is a traditional Japanese massage that is both relaxing and revitalizing. Its foundation is influenced by acupuncture, an ancient Chinese healing method thousands of years old.
It is performed on the floor with clothing on. Thumb and palm pressure, stretching techniques, and gentle rocking along the body’s energy channels called meridians are applied.
Thai Massage
Thai massage, with a history of over 2,500 years, is based on acupuncture-based massage found in Indian yoga and traditional Chinese medicine. It is performed clothed, on a semi-firm surface, without oil. Similar to Shiatsu massage, Thai massage focuses on peace, calm, awareness, purification, renewal, deep relaxation, gaining strength, refreshment, compassion, and love.
Many manipulations used today by physiotherapists have their roots in Thai massage.
Stress Management
A person seeks harmony in the work environment. Lack of harmony is a source of stress and creates an obstacle that prevents them from working. It is generally more common in countries where unemployment is widespread and in periods of economic crisis.
There are also sources of stress resulting from the individual and the situation they are in. People exhibit behaviors related to their personalities. In order to manage stress, we must first know ourselves fully. Habits such as drugs, alcohol, cigarettes and, when overdone, coffee and television can actually turn into situations that prevent us from seeing the cause of the negativities that happen to us.

Relaxation
Autogenic Relaxation:
It is an exercise program consisting of standard sentences that describe the characteristics of the body in a state of absolute comfort and calm.
Progressive Relaxation:
Separate muscle groups are targeted, first tightening the muscle for a certain period of time,
and then relaxing the muscles with the commands.
Systematic Desensitization:
A study in which physical relaxation and mental imagery are used together and is effective in phobias.
Breath
Breath means life. The first thing a newborn baby does is breathe. Most people, without knowing what proper breathing is and why it is necessary, take reflexive breaths just to survive. Why is breathing, which seems like a simple thing, so important? Breath contains basic needs for both the body and the mind.
Prana, which is mentioned in Sanskrit texts, can be translated as breath or universal cosmic energy.
Meditation
Meditation is a way of knowing oneself through awareness, which is common in Far Eastern cultures such as Tibet, China, India, Japan, and Thailand.
In passive meditation (ZEN), which is done in a quiet place with eyes closed and sitting upright, nothing is actually done. In other words, it is a moment of inactivity. It is the state of being alone with one's own existence. It can also be summarized as conscious sleep. In active meditation, there is any action done with awareness. This can be controlled or automatic breathing, dancing, yoga, exercise, or washing the dishes. Over time, the state of meditation is also applied to our daily tasks and brings awareness to the events that occur around us.
Yoga
The origin of yoga, which literally means “to integrate”, dates back to the Vedas, Indian texts from about 5000 years ago. Although it is mentioned in religious texts, it has nothing to do with religion. Because there is no need for a religious leader or religious doctrine to practice and benefit from yoga. Yoga is a study done to stay healthy and activate the life force energy found in every person. However, if it is turned into a lifestyle, it also has a mystical dimension. Because it has a holistic, holistic philosophy about knowing oneself and comprehending the whole, and even becoming one with the whole.
